In some cases, it may be necessary for a designer to substitute one flower for another due to seasonal availability or to ensure a healthy quality of flower makes it into your arrangement. Substituted flowers will always have a similar color, appearance, and an equal or higher dollar value. For example, a pink ranunculus may be substituted for a pink anemone.
